More than 50 years know-how across three generations.

Since 1967, when Jan Jakubes Sr. established traditional carpenter trade, furniture production become an inseparable part of Jakubes family.

Despite all the changes that have shaped the world and our business over the last 50 years, we have been able to stand firmly on our own two feet, be true to our values and not forget our roots and heritage. Using the combined knowledge and opinions of three generations we were able to define the company’s mission and stride for perfection, originality and a first-class client experience with our work.

The company today

Our workshop is located in the heart of the Rajec Valley, which was founded by Ján Jakubes Sn. several decades ago. After reconstruction in 2019-2020, the total area is 400 m². We employ up to 10 employees, including occasional season employees. They take care of the complete interior production and related services. So, our products are processed not only by modern technologies, but also by the hands of our employees. We are not standardized production and assembly line.

We are also supporters of the project “Plant a tree, make a home” we plant tens of new trees a year in Slovakia.

Company beginnings

The family tradition of carpentry began with Jan Jakubes Sr. in a small farm building.

Second generation

Establishment of a license Ján Jakubes Jr. – second manufacturer generation.

Third generation

Matej Jakubes entered the company. We invest in the manufacturing process of veneered material. Our products are located in five countries around the world, including Austria.
